The problem that the electric wheelchair speed adjustment light flashes and the car does not go is mainly caused by the following possible faults:
First, the electric wheelchair is in manual mode, and the clutch (electromagnetic brake) is not closed. Of course, there is no such possibility of failure in electric wheelchairs without electromagnetic brakes. But whether it is better to have electric wheels with electromagnetic brakes or not, please choose according to the common usage scenarios of users;
The electromagnetic brake is not closed and the wheelchair is in the manual push mode. This will happen when the power is turned on and the joystick of the electric wheelchair controller is pushed. This is improper operation, not a quality problem. In this case, you only need to turn off the power and switch the clutch to electric mode to solve it. This is also the most common problem for the majority of electric wheelchair users, and the solution is very simple;
Secondly, another possibility is that the speed light of the electric wheelchair flashes and the car does not move away. Another possibility is that the power is turned on without the controller joystick being reset. This kind of situation is relatively rare. For example, if the joystick of some controllers is blocked and cannot be returned, or the controller is damaged and the joystick cannot be returned, this kind of fault alarm will also occur;
Third, such faults will also occur if the carbon brushes of the brushed motor are severely worn, which can be solved by replacing other possible faults with new matching carbon brushes; fourth, line faults will also cause such fault alarms. Usually, this situation is caused by the motor and the controller plug being loose or falling off; fifth, the controller failure causes the speed light of the electric wheelchair to flash and the car does not move. The above faults may not be solved after all the faults have been eliminated, that is, the controller itself is faulty. It is recommended to contact the manufacturer or your dealer to replace a new controller.
